We specialize in placing candidates in the following human resources areas.
Vice President of Human Resources
Must meet the Generalist qualifications. Has the knowledge of the Director of Human Resources, but is more strategically focused in dealing with the big-picture of an organization. This individual must be effective in interactions with senior management.
Director/Manager of Human Resources
Must meet the Generalist qualifications. Has a broad understanding of all areas of human resources, including several years of management/leadership experience of professional human resources staff. In addition, this level may carry a specific certification within the HR area.
Must have working knowledge in all areas of human resources. Experience in providing leadership or assistance in areas of recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and HRIS is required.
Well versed in all areas of employment law. Extensive experience as recruiters for non-exempt (clerical, entry-level or light industrial) personnel and/or exempt (supervisory, managerial, professional or technical) personnel is required.
Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to all areas
of employee benefits is required. Must have experience researching
and implementing benefits packages including insurance and/or wellness programs.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, experience conducting
open enrollment, and be versed in handling insurance plan conversions.
Technically oriented professionals with strong analytical aptitude and experience with job descriptions, wage structures and salary surveys. Familiarity with the Hay System, Point Factor System, and other forms of wage analysis is necessary.
Training & Development
Candidates are skilled in learning and development disciplines, learning strategies, needs analysis, instructional design and learning facilitation.
Must meet the Generalist qualifications. Has experience dealing with all types of employee issues surrounding discrimination, harassment, performance management issues, lay-offs, etc. This individual may also have labor experience in union negotiations, grievances, and/or avoidance.
Candidates will be proficient with a variety of software programs in P.C. environments. Skills developing and implementing the tracking, record-keeping and reporting capabilities of human resources systems are necessary.
Candidates should encompass a variety of areas depending upon the unique needs of a client company. Common projects include compensation program design, conducting industry specific surveys of human resources practices, developing policy and procedure manuals and handbooks, and establishing pro-active recruiting plans.
